About Me:

artist all my life born into a (typically dysfunctional!)family of artists, sculpture was my first artistic effort, but I ended up working in oils, and also ink, pencil and wash for ages. When the eyesight started getting bad I decided to try a return to scupture, in the form of ooak art dolls and similar small sculptures with polymer clay. I've found the ability to sculpt easier to recapture than taking on board the various steps to creating , say, a typical fairy character. But then I've only been messing with this for a few months, so perhaps I'm expecting too much too fast. Anyway, I'm popping in here and there on the net associated with ooak polyner and here I am.

Favorite Mediums:

pencil, pen and ink via rapidograph, as a teen I loved doing BW cartooning using Rapidograph type ink, drawing with a crow quill and then shaping things with ink washes using a bamboo brush...Seriously started oil painting around 16 and continued until somewhere close to fifties, then eyes started to go, now I'm enjoying learning to sculpt with polymer clay. I also enjoy gardening, though I'm not very good at it.

??? Other interests? The whole world interests me. I get excited every time I encounter something I didn't know before. ..come to think of it, no wonder I'm exhausted. I'm in a perpetual state of manic excitement!
