Hi Everyone..

Just came across this whilst looking for some advice and inspiration. Started making Faerie Doors a few years back, but stopped to plough myself into my partners business. Now I'm make onto all things Fae. Going to start with some goblins, and hopefully (when I'm a LOT more skilled) go onto making Faeries.

I haven't really used polymer clay before, but have used many other mediums so hopefully I'll pick it up quickly :)

Hi Everyone! I just joined yesterday. I am a primitive/folk art doll artist/pattern designer. All of my "collectibles" are one of a kind. I have a website www.mustardseedoriginals.com where I sell most of them, but I am also involved in alot of other monthly sites as well.

I am eager to meet new friends in the doll designing business or hobby world. I live in Southern California~planning to retire to Phoenix Arizona area as soon as the economy gets better.

Anyone out there closeby me?

I just joined this group, it looks like things are a little slow...maybe we can perk that up? I posted some photos of a doll I'm working to finish right now, and would love some feedback. I live in New England, but will be moving to Upstate NY fairly soon - hubby's job keeps us bouncing.

I, too, just happen to run across this while looking to see about art doll contests. Among other things I make art dolls out of whatever I can find. I posted photos of some of them last night. I sell my stuff through our store Mill Creek Mercantile in Omaha, NE and will take more pictures today when I go to work. I was looking for art doll contests because I want to run one through the store as a fund raiser for a child who needs a wheelchair van. I need to figure out how to set up the contest. We are just starting an artist trading card contest and that was pretty easy to set up. I'm more intimidated by doing the art doll contest. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.
